As part of the Steven Hatch lighting course at Perfect Light Camera in Idaho Falls, we had a photo station next to a window at the Colonial Theatre to help us learn how to light a model with natural light. I was able to use a reflector to help lighten the shadowed part of the face. The reflector really added all of the necessary lighting to make the environment perfect for portrait photography.

The images with the colored background were produced with colored gels on top of flashed that really added contrast to the images. We used a bookshelf shelf as a diffuser in-front of the flash to create the color texture in the background. It was fun and very creative.
