Ever since I heard that the Color in Motion 5K was coming to Rexburg, Idaho, I got pretty excited. For cameras, going to these events is pretty risky. You risk the chalk dust going into your camera sensor, or other parts that could potentially damage or ruin your camera. Luckily for me, I got a little creative with how I protected my camera. As you can see in the image below, I used masking tape to surround all the cracks, lens, SD card and battery slots.
The Color in Motion 5K run is such a unique event that happens in some cities all across the country. When I first heard that this event was coming to Rexburg, I knew that I wanted to photograph the community at this event. The colorful chalk particles were flying all over the place, and everyone in sight had at least one color on them. Check out these photos from people in the Rexburg community.
