Last summer I was able to get away from Rexburg, Idaho for the Memorial Day weekend and travel to downtown Salt Lake City and photograph the Temple Square area. Temple Square has been on of my favorite locations to photograph whenever I travel down there. There are always photo opportunities. I got there about an hour after sunrise and photographed the Salt Lake Mormon Temple.

The Salt Lake Temple is probably one of the most photographed temples inside the Mormon faith, so why do I keep taking pictures of it? There is simply one answer, the lighting changes every time I go there. The clouds are always  different and the HDR effect comes out differently. The flowers are either blooming or the skies are stormy, its always different and that is why I keep photographing the same places more than once.
